At Whittle-le-Woods Methodist Church we hope we are "a small congregation with a big heart!". We may not have great numbers but people who have joined us in recent years have said how they value the friendship and care they have received.

Our constant aim is to worship God when we gather on Sundays, and to serve Christ wherever we meet him in other people in the rest of the week.

We meet for worship which is led either by ministers or local preachers from around the Chorley and Leyland Methodist Circuit on Sunday mornings at 10.00am and we hope that you will find a warm welcome and meaningful worship on any occasion that you might care to join us. After the service we always enjoy coffee, tea and biscuits together and laughter can usually be heard as we chat together!

Currently we have a Bible Study on the second and fourth Wednesday afternoon each month from 2.00pm to 3.00pm.

Our monthly Coffee Morning on the second Saturday of each month from 10.30am to 12 noon is a much appreciated time of fellowship and there is usually a cake stall and sale of books and bric-a-brac.

The Women's Guild meet on alternate Monday afternoons from 1.30pm till 3.00pm with interesting talks and events during the season.

Community groups and organisations have been able to use our premises and currently Slimming World are with us for two sessions per week. Enquiries from other groups who would be interested in using our premises are always welcome.
