Charlotte Rowse

Hello, I’m Charlotte, the circuit Children, Youth, Families
and School Worker. I am new to the Chorley and Leyland Methodist circuit having
previously worked within the Wigan circuit as a Children and Families worship
coordinator.

My role is to work across all the wonderful churches and
congregations within the Chorley and Leyland circuit, supporting the ongoing
children and youth work as well as working with our local schools. I am keen to
learn more about what goes on around the circuit and to hear any ideas you may
have about opportunities for our young people within the circuit.

In my spare time, I am a Guide and Ranger leader, I love
camping and singing lots of campfire songs. I also really enjoy crafting (especially
painting and scrapbooking), going to the cinema and spending time with my
husband, family and friends.

One of my favourite hymns is “You Shall Go Out with Joy.” It
reminds me that when we leave worship, we should share God’s joy with those
around us and let God’s peace guide both our hearts and minds.
