I have Pastoral responsibility of the congregations at Euxton and Hillside Methodist Churches. Chaplaincy at St John's C of E and Methodist School, Brinscall,
My areas of responsibility as superintendent include oversight of Safeguarding, Local Preachers, Worship Leaders and Worship across the circuit including the circuit plan
I was born and brought up in Cambridge, until I came to Lancashire in 2004 to study Christian Ministry at St. Martin's College, Lancaster, I then spent a year in London as the first year of pre-ordination training before completing a Masters in applied theological studies at the Queen's Theological Foundation in Birmingham from 2008-2010 from where was then sent to Ashton-under-Lyne to begin full time circuit ministry as a probationer presbyter. I was ordained in Camborne in 2012 at the Plymouth Methodist Conference.
I have lived in the Chorley and Leyland Circuit since August 2020.
One of my favourite Bible verses is from the message version,
"The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighbourhood."
To me it captures part of what presbyteral ministry is about, being present in community with people and helping people to realised God's presence with them.
I love the privilege of ordained ministry in sharing in the joys and sorrows of the journey of life, I also enjoy being able to explore how the scriptures speak to us in our ordinary everyday lives.
My hobbies include going to the theatre, I also enjoy spending time with my friends, family and goddaughters.
