These courses are usually aimed at the health/ wellbeing/ public sector but are now being offered to the Third Sector to teach about mental health, leadership and social care. Some of the courses included are: understanding autism, awareness of mental health and principals of team leading. The Courses would be beneficial to staff and volunteers as part of their 'Continued Professional Development'.

The courses are nationally recognised level 2 NCFE certificates which are done at home over a 12 week period free to anyone 24+ and are for individuals to sign up onto. Wigan and Leigh college have assessors available over the phone or on email to help you with any aspect of the course and you will be sent work booklets, so we will support you the whole way through.
