The Nativity Reaches Eccleston Methodist Church

The Nativity Arrives at Eccleston Methodist Church – Just in Time!!

Just like 2025 years ago, its been a long journey for Mary & Joseph this year, along with the wise men and the shepherds. However this year it was a long journey through Eccleston Village to reach the Methodist Church just in time for the nativity, Christingle and Carols services on Sunday 21st December.

This year, to celebrate the wonderful journey and the birth of Jesus, the people of Eccleston Village, led by the wonderful team at Eccleston Methodist Church, have had a travelling Nativity scene, moving through the village during advent.

The beautifully created characters and scene had a number of stops as it travelled through the village, with more joining them each time, giving the residents of the village a fantastic Nativity all the way through advent, with the scene finally arriving at its final destination on Sunday 21st December just in time for the morning Nativity and Christingle in the morning and to hear the wonderful Carol service in the afternoon.

An amazing celebration of the season by the whole village and all the churches throughout the village, who took part.

Well done to Eccleston Methodist Church for leading this celebration and a big thank you to the churches and volunteers of the village who took part to make this happen.

The scene can now be viewed outside the Methodist Church.
