Job title: Tenancy Management Worker Hours: full-time, 35 hours per week Salary grade: NJC band 3-6 Starting salary: £18,065 Responsible to: Tenancy Management Lead Location: Chorley, with extensive travel around central Lancashire Achieving mental wellbeing for all Our Tenancy Management Workers, led by our Tenancy Management Lead, provide a valuable service for people experiencing a mental health condition. We work in partnership with housing associations across central Lancashire. They provide the accommodation and we work with the individual to help them to manage and maintain their tenancy. We are looking for optimistic, resilient individuals who are passionate about enabling people to move towards independent living. You will work with the team to provide an Intensive Housing Management service to people living in multiple and single occupancy properties in Chorley, South Ribble and Preston. The post involves lone working in people's own homes, assisting individuals, in a variety of ways, to manage and maintain their tenancies. You will work with people to create a person-centred support plan. Support includes (but is not limited to) help and guidance to claim welfare benefits, assistance to pay bills, finance management, effective budgeting and other skills for life. This is a challenging and varied job and we require someone who can work with individuals with a diverse range of mental health conditions and those living complex lifestyles. The successful candidate will need to be a good team player, as well as being able to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision.
